Szósty numer międzynarodowego czasopisma prowadzonego na Uniwersytecie w Walencji, zatytułowany “Limes” jest poświęcony interdyscyplinarnym badaniom granic symbolicznych w literaturze i kulturze. HYBRIDA. Revue scientifique sur les hybridations culturelles et les identités migrantes, to francusko- i anglojęzyczny periodyk naukowy poświęcony kulturowym hybrydyzacjom oraz tożsamościom migrantów. Wydanie specjalne – tom 6. – powstało jako pokłosie szkoły letniej zorganizowanej przez oboje redaktorów dr hab. Annę Ledwinę prof. UO (Instytut Nauk o Literaturze) i dr. Michała Wanke (Instytut Językoznawstwa) oraz Pracownię Zróżnicowania i Różnorodności FORTHEM na Wydziale Filologicznym UO w 2022 r. pod tytułem: Symbolic Boundaries & Multidisciplinary Perspectives: A Summer School on Diversity, Distinction and Difference (Frontières Symboliques et Perspectives Multidisciplinaires, Une Université d’Été sur la Diversité, la Distinction et la Différence).
Na tom składa się 11 artykułów naukowych, 7 w j. francuskim i 4 w j. angielskim napisanych przez badaczki i badaczy z całego świata (Francji, Portugalii, Burundi, Kamerunu, Maroka oraz Polski, Łotwy, Kazachstanu/Szwajcarii i Czech). Teksty te omawiają szeroko rozumiane pojęcie granicy we współczesnej literaturze francuskiej i frankofońskiej (w twórczości autorów takich jak Mario Pasa, Abdellah Taïa, David Van Reybrouck, Marie NDiaye, Fatima Mernissi, Hélène Bessette, Giannina Braschi, Mohamed Mbougar Sarr, Mahmud Nasimi), eksplorowane w ujęciu komparatystycznym, uwzględniając kwestie tożsamościowe (dyskryminacja płci), społeczne (feminizm, transkulturowość), estetyczne i genologiczne (hybrydyczność gatunkowa) oraz studia postkolonialne chińskiego kina i konstruowania granic między Wschodem i Zachodem, antropologiczną analizę peryferiów imperializmu rosyjskiego, filozoficzne studium rasizmu i wytwarzania granicy między białym i innym, a także socjologiczną analizę dystynkcji aspiracji migracyjnych ukraińskiej młodzieży w Czechach. Redaktorem naczelnym czasopisma jest Domingo Pujante, profesor literatury frankofońskiej na Uniwersytecie w Walencji, od 2021 r. współpracujący z prof. Anną Ledwiną (obopólne wizyty z wykładami gościnnymi, staż dydaktyczny w UV) i z dr. Michałem Wanke (kurs akademii cyfrowej, Migrant Media Narratives i książka o tym samym tytule, która ukaże się nakładem czasopisma Tirant). The 6th issue of the international journal hosted by the University of Valencia, entitled “Limes” came out devoted to interdisciplinary research of symbolic boundaries in literature and culture. HYBRIDA. Revue scientifique sur les hybridations culturelles et les identités migrantes is a French- and English language scientific periodical dealing with cultural hybridizations and migrant identities. The special issue – volume 6 – is a result of a summer school organised by both of the guest editors, prof. Anna Ledwina (Institute of Literature Studies) and dr. Michał Wanke (Institute of Linguistics) and the FORTHEM Diversity and Migration Lab at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Opole in 2022 entitled Symbolic Boundaries & Multidisciplinary Perspectives: A Summer School on Diversity, Distinction and Difference (Frontières Symboliques et Perspectives Multidisciplinaires, Une Université d’Été sur la Diversité, la Distinction et la Différence).
The volume consists of 11 research papers, 7 in French and 4 in English authored by investigators from all over the world (France, Portugal, Burundi, Cameroon, Morocco and Poland, Latvia, Kazakhstan/Switzerland and Czechia). Papers tackle the notion of borders in the contemporary French and Francophone literature (in the writings of inter alia: Mario Pasa, Abdellah Taïa, David Van Reybrouck, Marie NDiaye, Fatima Mernissi, Hélène Bessette, Giannina Braschi, Mohamed Mbougar Sarr, Mahmud Nasimi) explored in the comparativist approach, covering identity issues (gender discrimination), social issues (feminism, transculturality) aesthetic issues and genological issues (genre hybridization) as well as postcolonial inquires into Chinese cinema and construction of the East/West boundaries, anthropological analysis of the Russian empire peripheries, philosophical study of racism and construction of distinctions between the white and the racialized other as well as sociological analysis of distinctions in migration aspirations of Ukrainian youth in Czechia. Domingo Pujante, a professor of francophone literature at the University of Valencia is the Editor in Chief of the journal and he has been cooperating with prof. Anna Ledwina since 2021 (mutual guest lecture visits, a teaching stay at the UV) and with dr. Michał Wanke (the digital academy course, Migrant Media Narratives and a book of the same title in press with Tirant).
